Joe Pepitone currently serves as the Head Coach for the Varsity Girls lacrosse team. During the 2024 season, the team reached the state playoffs, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen and ultimately finishing in the Final Four. Joe’s playing career included playing club lacrosse at the University of Delaware, where he also assisted a couple of local high school teams.

Joe officially started his coaching career at Norcross High School in 2007, spearheading the creation of the girls' and boys' club lacrosse teams. He founded and coached the boys' and girls' Varsity programs while remaining active in the community as a recreational youth coach. In 2021, Joe became the girls' JV coach at NGHS. He continues to play men's lacrosse with the Hedgehogs, serving as an attack and midfielder.
