Ryan Burkhart
Coach Ryan Burkhart is in his 2nd year as the head coach of the Bulldogs women's program and a social studies teacher.
Coach Burkhart first began coaching at Northside High School (his alma mater) in Warner Robins, Ga. After four seasons, he made the move up to Atlanta in 2014, taking over the Norcross Blue Devils women’s program. He spent 2014-2022 with the Blue Devils, winning a Region title (2021) for the first time in fifteen years. They made the playoffs sever years straight, reaching the Sweet Sixteen the last two season. During his high school coaching career, Coach Burkhart has compiled a record of 121-68-8. Coach Burkhart is active in club soccer as well. He spent his first three years in Atlanta at UFA-Norcross. He moved to Brookhaven FC to help with that club in the early years of its creation, a club now known as UFA-Metro Atlanta. Currently he is working with Atlanta Fire United. Ryan holds a USSF-C license and spent the ’22 summer working with the Atlanta United academy program.
Ryan attended Northside High School and then graduated with his B.A. in History from Georgia College. He also stayed at GC for his MA in Education.
Ryan married his wife, Lily, in May of 2021, and they welcomed their first child, Teddy, in Sept of 2022. They recently moved to the Suwanee area.
