Justin Bacile
Coach Bacile is entering his third year as the head boys golf coach at North Gwinnett after having coached both the boys and girls golf teams the last two seasons. After the Covid-19 pandemic shortened the 2020 season, the girls golf team has qualified for the state tournament in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. In 2022, the Bulldogs finished as area 4AAAAAAA Champions, and completed the year with a 6th place finish at the GHSA State Tournament. The 2023 girls golf team placed 4th at the GHSA State Tournament. The 2024 boys and girls programs both qualified for the GHSA State Tournament, with a 3rd place finish for the boys team and 4th place finish for the girls team. During the 2025 campaign, both boys and girls were crowned Area 4AAAAAA Champions, earning both groups an automatic state tournament berth. The girls finished 5th in the state and boys ended the two day tournament with a 10th place state finish in AAAAAA.
The 2025-2026 school year is Coach Bacile's 20th year teaching and coaching overall. This is his 8th year at North Gwinnett High School, where he teaches AP Human Geography.
A native of Oviedo, FL and graduate of the University of Florida, Coach Bacile is an avid golfer and traveler and enjoys spending his down time with his wife Melissa and sons Ethan and Logan, both on and off the golf course.
