Lexie Emmons
Coach Lexie Emmons is in her first year as the Assistant Varsity Coach for North Gwinnett High School's women's soccer program, where she also teaches math.
Coach Emmons began her coaching career at South Gwinnett High School, where she spent two years coaching the boys' junior varsity (JV) soccer team and the girls' JV volleyball team. Additionally, she served as the assistant coach for both varsity teams. During her time at South Gwinnett, the boys' JV soccer team had a remarkable season, with four players demonstrating significant growth and potential. These players moved up to the varsity team, contributing to their success in winning the region and reaching the final four in the state playoffs. The following year, the boys' JV team finished their season with an impressive record of 11-0-1, while the varsity team again qualified for the playoffs.
Coach Emmons has played soccer for her entire life, continuing with club teams throughout college and participating in various leagues afterward. Her area of expertise is working with the defensive line. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in psychology. She then earned her master's degree in the Art of Teaching from the University of West Georgia and is a certified nutritionist through NASM. On November 19, 2023, she married her husband, and they have two adorable Dobermans named Nike and Ares.
